During the winter of 2013, I had previously bought an old red Razertip wood burner, and discovered the OWC. I took a 2 day course that was taught by member Brian Graham, and discovered a new hobby for my upcoming retirement. At that time, we also met weekly to do Pyrography. Unfortunately, the pandemic was not kind to this group and we disbanded, although people are more than welcome to do Pyro at the Friday Clutches, just bring an extension cord. It would be wonderful to see more Pyro being done.
Once retired, I started to attend the Friday afternoon clutches and became interested in wood carving as well- mostly small items. The members of the club are super friendly, and always willing to share tips, techniques and projects.
