PYROGRAPHY CLASS- SHADING TECHNIQUES

Join Catherine Shearer as she teaches you shading technique.

Catherine joined the club in 2013, and while she also enjoys wood carving, pyrography is her passion. She is adept in the shading techniques and will walk you thru the process of burning and shading a rose.

Target Audience:

Intermediate beginner to intermediate

Tools:

Pyrography machine with variable temperature control (let us know if you don't have a pyrography machine, and will try to borrow one for your use)
tips needed- shading tip, ball tip or writing tip
wood and pattern provided

Please bring your food and drink to class so we can use our time as best we can.

You will be required to sign a waiver which will supplied at the class.

Note: The minimum # of participants required to run the course is 4 and maximum 10.

Fee: OWC member $ 40

Non-member $ 60 (includes a reduced $20 annual membership fee)

Registration deadline is Monday, May 4th, 2026

Cancellation refunds given only with 4 days' notice of the course, by Tues. May 5th, 2026
